Here are a few things I have learned about Sundays which I want to share with you...
  • Don't go to the supermarket at 11:30 or after 18:00
It is at11:30 the local church finishes it service and everyone decants into the supermarket to pick up their weekly shopping, madness. After 18:00 it's shut, normally it shuts at 22:00 which gives you plenty of time to run back and get everything you forgot earlier...but not on Sundays.
  • Buses are few and far between
If you are trying to get anywhere on a Sunday, plan ahead and don't stress if it take you a while to get anywhere. Its the day of rest after all, so relax!

That is the negative ones out the way, now for a bit of positivity.
  • Sunday stroll
Nothing cured a hangover better than a brisk walk along the coast, or so I am told.
  •  Afternoon naps
Throw on a DVD in the sun drenched lounge, play with the cats and see who can stay awake the longest.
  • Sunday Roast
Roast potatoes, carrots, turnip, parsnip, Yorkshire puddings, gravy, stuffing.... need I say more? Just remember and set a timer if you are going for a nap.

Last, but definitely not least, snuggling up early in bed after a exciting weekend on the Isle of Skye!

Which is exactly what I am going to do now.
